It's been 2 weeks and 2 days. Chris called the embassy yesterday. Not a fun call, but eventually they looked up our file and said Paris was still processing it. Today there was an e-mail that said we needed additional paperwork, but we could e-mail it or fax it in. It was kind of good news, bad news. The good news is they are letting us add paperwork. The bad news, we still need to get it from the insurance company and not sure how much time that will take. So glad we prayed before the call and many others are praying.
How did we miss it? We went over everything a bunch of times.... But we missed the link about the letter from the insurance company and what it was to say. Maybe it was because we thought we were to go through Campus France, but we weren't. We only need a Long Stay Visitors Visa.
Keep praying the papers come, the French government accepts them, and the visas arrive.
Meanwhile...
Kitchen stuff packed. The kids and I are down to 1 week of clothes in the drawer for our carry on. The toys are being sorted. I'm starting to clean Mom's house from our mess. Things are going to the attic or the goodwill pile. We are finishing up school, piano lessons, and Rosetta Stone (Thank you Judy Myers!) Almost finished taking pictures of my favorite recipes....
Swim team is practicing week days so we all sleep well. It is great to be able to swim laps while the kids do. GREAT Stress relief.
To Do:
Label and repack everything for Cameroon. Decide what pictures to bring with us. Finish packing. Clean.
Wish list:
Copy the favorite VCR tapes to save to the computer/external hard drive. Same for DVDs. Not sure how to do that!
Upcoming:
Commissioning service Sunday June 9th @ Redeemer PCA in Lynchburg. Both services. (With a youth group tubing trip following)

Open House June 14th
2nd Swim Meet June 17th
