The Packing has started in earnest now. I have 80% of the kids' clothes and my clothes in trunks. Sweaters are in spacebags, and very select kitchen stuff picked out. My mom's room is the staging ground while she is out of town.

Our dear friend Megan, age 17, has offered to come with us and help keep house so we have more time to study. Will it work? Maybe- she'd have to share a room with Kristin and we don't know about her visa or how long it would take. I think it would be a win-win situation. She'd get language, culture and travel, and we would get help from a sweet girl. We'll work on making it happen. Pray that if it is supposed to be, that it would be easily done.

Feeling excited, anxious, hopeful.... Trying not to forget anything. Wondering how we have such wonderful friends. I don't feel we've done anything to deserve them. Thankful for Krista Weiss helping me pack. Thankful for Chrissy Hinton and Sue Crowe for putting on an open house for us. Trying to make sure everyone knows about our Open House:
My other job is to see how small I can make our possessions. That means pictures of recipes instead of books. I will miss the books. I'm loading cd's on the computer and downloading free books. Fun things. Next to take care of pictures to bring with us....
