Last Days in France…

We returned from our time in Spain on Wednesday and as we drove past the familiar mountains I was filled with conflicting emotions.
Awe at the comforting and familiar beauty.
Overwhelming sadness at looking at the beauty we are about to leave.
Anger (about the changes maybe?)
Aching for our heavenly home.
Fear for the future.
Worry for all to be done.
Anxiety for the dental appointment with a dentist who doesn't speak English.

And I was thinking, 'How can I feel all this at the same time?'
Not cool.

It's Sunday now.  The bags are (mostly) packed.  I'm halfway through cleaning. Most of the goodbyes have been said.
I have laughed, and cried, and felt numb.

My kids have all expressed fear, desire to stay in France, and wishing they were 'normal kids.'
We have talked about it all and prayed.

We are as ready as we can be.  But we will miss this place and the friends that have become part of our hearts and lives.

Tuesday at 6 our driver will come, then pick up the Hare family, go to our school to pick up Nikita, and then take us to the Geneva airport.  Please pray for the flight, for all the luggage to arrive with us, and for safety the whole day.
Pray my dental work - not an implant, (merely) a new insert and crown.  I still feel it. It aches.
Pray for our arrival and for the settling in process.  Thankfully friends will meet us at the airport and help us get settled.

God sent this beautiful double rainbow this week.
He is full of promises!

Not sure when we will have internet again, so here's a quick update:
